The first time they come to the dental hygiene appointment, we make sure we take the bitewings. The bitewings is the only way we can look at the cavities between their teeth. And some are big, some are small. So, we diagnose whether they are between the teeth, whether they’re on top of the teeth. We try to show them by taking pictures through our scanner, so that if they have any questions, we can explain them if they understand that they have cavities and they would be ready to get them treated. Fillings are very simple. It’s a very simple procedure where we numb them, make sure they’re comfortable. And we use bands and rings where we are able to place the filling and then match the shade of the teeth they have.

- A Dental Crown – A crown is a good choice for more serious decay, as it covers your entire tooth.
