The reason why I came here is because I noticed on her website she mentioned things about TMJ and, like, jaw pain, and that’s something that had been dismissed in previous dental experiences that I’ve had. So, I came here hoping to get that addressed and it was 100% addressed. So, I did have a few options actually, which I think is great. It wasn’t just like a one-size-fits-all approach.

So, I had an option to treat it immediately with botox on this side that I was experiencing the issue on. And then I also had the option to kind of take a long-term solution and do Invisalign to address the crowding that was going on in my mouth that was potentially causing the pain, which in retrospect, it was causing the pain.

I started with the botox and I did that just in the beginning to alleviate the temporary pain that I was experiencing or the immediate pain that I was experiencing. And then after I did that one session, which really helped with the pain at an immediate level, I came back for an additional cleaning, I think. And at that point, I was able to decide that I wanted to do Invisalign and I wanted to take the long-term approach and sort of solve it at the root level.

I have a little bit of dental anxiety when it comes to, like, just having somebody, like, in my face for so long, and it’s nice because she, kind of, just explains what she’s doing as she’s doing it and makes you feel comfortable the whole time.

I guess the one word would be “positive.” It’s the darn dentist, I mean, who wants to go to the dentist? So, you know, then it’s a positive experience. I don’t dread going to the dentist, because, like, there’s enough else that’s pleasant and collegial about it, and I know they’re gonna be very good about, you know, I don’t have to pay upfront. They wait and then bill me after the insurance, and all that, which isn’t always the case in healthcare. It’s overall a very positive experience.

I felt really confident about it. I feel like I’m a very picky person when it comes to quality of care, in that I like to make sure that things are explained well to a patient. I think, like, transparency within that is really good and just communicating overall is really great.
